Whirlpool Gold ceramic cooktop removal.

Question

Putting in new countertops in my kitchen and have to take out the ceramic cooktop- its a Whirlpool Gold black ceramic- its hard-wired to its own box underneath the cabinets. Looks easy enough- but I'm no electrician, and not a fan of being shocked! I got the cutting the power part- what's next? Please keep in mind, I have to put it right back after I put the granite in. Thank you in advance for your time. ~C.S.
