I have a Whirlpool side by side, mod# ed5chqxkt03, which was purchased new in 2005. It stopped running. If I tap on the temperature control k***s or in the vicinity, it will begin running again. If I tap on that area while it is running, it will shut off. Is this a simple loose connection or something more serious such as a bad thermostat, or something completely different?
