Whirlpool dishwasher err4

Question

whirlpool dishwasher ADP6000IX has an err4 on it being from an overflow now it is stuck in pump and need some info on it on how to fix it thx

The float switch in the inside bottom of the d/w did this tap the float or cover they sometimes hang up due to soap inside cover. The float is telling the d/w it is full of water and will only pump out! Watch out for Joy type soap in the machine even the smallest traces can cause big problems! Do not rinse the dishes with a sponge just your hand if you must.
