Whirlpool mh2155xps microwave door handle

Question

I need to replace the handle on my microwave. I can not get to the screws inside. I took the 3 screws out of the side but it has a stainless steel front that needs to come off with tabs that fit into the plastic part that goes around the door. I can not bend the tabs to get it off. I can not find a way to open it up. Any help?
