My Whirlpool ED25RFXFN00 side-by-side seems to stop cooling at some point. I noticed the top quick freeze shelve, which had ice cream on it was starting to thaw and the ice seemed a little bit melted. I rotated the thermostat switch for the box side and the compressor came on and started cooling. I also checked the condenser coils, which were clean and bot the condenser and evaporator fans are running, when unit is operating. I checked the internet and did a defrost mode test, by rotating the defrost timer into defrost. The defrost heater comes on and defrost for about 20-25 minutes. This seems long, started defrost at 6:55 and went back to operating at 7:17 pm. I wondering if there is a problem with box side thermostat, intermittent defrost timer or bad defrost/thermostat thermal switch. Any suggestions? Thanks
