  1. statisically every team is still in it

    but realisticly

the al west is wrapped up

the al central is the twins and white sox

the al east is the rays and red sox (man thats weird)

the nl east is the mets, phils, and marlins (my poor braves)

nl central slim chance for the brewers and card(<wild card winner)

nl west dodgers d-backs and i guess the rockies just b/c of last year

  2. There' STILL a lot of baseball to play, and anything can happen.  But anyone more than 10 games out, I'd say are done

  3. teams that still have a realistic shot at the playoffs

    Rays

    Red Sox

    Yankees

    White Sox

    Twins

    Tigers

    Angels

    Rangers

    Mets

    Phillies

    Marlins

    Cubs

    Brewers

    Cardinals

    Dbacks

    Dodgers (only in NL West)

  4. The Dodgers because they probably are not going to pass the Diamonbacks and aren't good enough to make the wild card.

  5. The Yankees arent out

    let me tell u somthing:

    Last 100 Years

    Yankees 26 World Series

    Cubs- 0 world series

  6. I think the yankees cant make it. Their pitching suck and with Joba out it really hurts them.

    CUBS ROCK

  7. These type of questions are pretty premature to be asking There's still a lot of baseball left to play. Anything can happen when there are so many variables like the wild cards. If your10 games out in early August mathematically your still in it. All that has to happen is one team start losing and the other team start winning. There, can be season ending Injury's That's what makes this time of the year so exciting. No one has a crystal ball. If you did you wouldn't be on Y.A asking us. You would be out betting your *** off.

  8. Royals, Reds, Padres, Pirates, Astros, Nationals, Giants, Mariners, Rangers, Athletics Tigers, Indians, Braves, Orioles, Blue Jays

  9. Still in: Yanks, Twins, Sox, Rangers

    Out: Twins or Texas =[

  10. The Yankees aren't out of it. 6.5 games back in the division and 3 games back in the wild card in the first full week of August is hardly justification for running up the white flag.

Now the Orioles...they're out of it.

  11. For the AL: Yanks, Red Sox, Rays, Twins, White Sox, and Angels are still very much in the race. That list right there holds the 4 teams that will make the playoffs.

Then you only have 3 other teams that are less than 10 games behind in either their division or Wild Card. So techinically they are still in the race but realistically they are out of it. You have the Rangers, Tigers and Blue Jays. The other teams they are trying to catch are just too good for them to beat. And sadly, the only reason the Yankees arent in this group yet is because they are still only 3.5 behind in the Wild Card. We will have to wait and see how they adjust to the loss of Joba.

As for the NL: The Phillies, Mets, Marlins, Cubs, Brewers, Cards, Diamondbacks, and Dodgers are still in the race.

The Rockies are 7.5 behind in their division and their division is pretty crappy so technically they have a chance. But if you ask me, they are out of it.

  12. if you consider the braves still "in it" them

    cardinals

    rockies

    yankees

    tigers

nones still "in it" in the al west, unless of course the rangers make a wild card run
