Question:

White Eyeliner or Gold?

I have medium skin, and dark brown eyes. I want to use white eyeliner to make my eyes seem bigger, but I did some research, and have concluded that a yellowly gold eyeliner would blend in more with my skin. The white eyeliner might look like costume makeup and be too noticeable. Does anyone know if this is true? And what eyeshadow colors I should use?

  1. gold is great.

    but if you put white in the inner corners of your eyes, it brightens you up.

    gold is great for fall, though.

  2. I would do a slim white base; then go over it with gold.

    Or only put the white on the inner and outer corners of your eyes; then blend the gold in a little.

  3. white in the inner side and gold out side and don't use white but silver becoz white makes eye pale

  4. Gold is really in right now! I personally would never wear white eyeliner. I think it looks too costume. what i think looks best is black eyeliner with gold eyeshadow. sometimes gold eyeliner works but people tend to look weird when they try.. like it blends in too much or just looks wrong.

    here's what i think you should do. now this is bolder than i would suggest for everyday wear but it gives you the general picture on how to apply it.

    i would just pick different shades of eyeshadow.. probably a dark and a light shade of gold.

  5. heres a trick that i use to

    make my eyes look bigger

    using white & gold eyeliner.

    put they white only in the inner corners of your eyes

    then blend it into gold eyeliner on the top and brown on the bottom

    skin tone eyeshadows work the best with this look

    and dont forget to curl your eyelashes and lots of mascara!

    hope i helped!
