White Out Stains on Leather Chair & Hardwood Floors?

My son poured a bottle of white out on my leather desk chair and it also got on my desk and a little on the hardwood floor. I've tried nail polish remover and that didnt work......Does anyone know of anything else that will remove the stains?

  1. Use a putty knife or even a credit card to scrape off as much as possible without damaging the leather or flooring.  Working in small areas at a time saturate with WD40 allow it to soak into the white out and then wipe off with a clean cloth or paper towel. As the WD40 works, the witeout dissolves into a white, smeary goo.  Repeat the saturation and wipe until it is all removed then finish by washing with dish detergent and warm water to remove the residue from the WD40.
