White Soks Roks to show his value in SIS Live Open 600 at Shelbourne Park
White Soks Roks has done well over different distances. After proving his mettle in the 575 yards contest at Clonmel, the black dog travelled to Kilky, where he outsmarted the opposition in the 726 yards meeting.
Byrne’s charge did not rest on his laurels, and registered a couple of fascinating victories over 750 yards at Shelbourne Park. After striking hat-trick at the open level, the son of Royal Impact is brimming with confidence.
He has proved his ability to do well over different distances. So, there is no reason why he should not come up with an outstanding effort in the SIS Live Open 600, being hosted by Shelbourne Park on Saturday, November 03, 2012.
On his previous two outings here last month, White Soks Roks was more than impressive. After notching up the top rank by four lengths, he continued the great work, securing the latest win with ridiculous ease. There is nothing wrong with his present rhythm,
and it will not be something of a surprise, if he adds another triumph to his tally.
Other hounds in the pack are: Noirs Buachaill, Abbeyville Tipp, Morell Knave, Howling Wind and Lord Miley. A handy prize of €500 is reserved for the successful hound. As per the plan, the contest will be initiated at 22:30 GMT.
Abbeyville Tipp surely has a role to play. On his penultimate trip, the black dog was an easy 5½-length winner. The son of Westmead Hawk, however, completely failed to carry on in the same fashion, and faced an embarrassing loss last time. A favourable draw
makes him a dangerous fellow tonight.
Victories have dried up for Morell Knave these days, and we expect similar things in today’s contest. Howling Wind is not enjoying the best of draws. The black dog is likely to run well only in defeat. Lord Miley is in really bad form these days. So, the
punters should not expect him to thrive.
The bookmakers have given Noirs Buachaill the best price. The black dog surely deserves respect because of his enormous experience at this level. The black dog usually does well over 600 yards, and according to our calculations, he is the second best choice
after White Soks Roks.
