Two teams from the USA Major League Soccer, Houston Dynamo and Vancouver Whitecaps went head-to-head on 11 April, at Robertson Stadium. The Dynamo came out on top with a comfortable 3-1 win against the Whitecaps and registered their first win of the new
ongoing season.

Dominic Kinnear’s side looked a far superior outfit then the visiting unit. They were on the front foot right from start and showed no mercy for the Whitecaps. Houston were in control of the ball and built immense pressure upon Vancouver’s back-four. Lovel

Both teams came out with same aggression and flare in the second half but none of them could produce an impressive performance, as most of the game was played in the midfield. This half lacked the venom which was imminent in the latter part of the first
half. The Blue and White made some attempts to equalise but the Dynamo back-four stood firm.
With just over ten minutes remaining on the clock, Will Bruin netted in his team’s third goal of the evening in the 76th minute which ended any hopes which Vancouver had of making a comeback. It remained as it is untill the final whistle was blown
and the Houston Dynamo marked a comfortable victory.
