White better choice for Australia Twenty20 skipper?

Would Cameron White have been a better choice for captain of the Australia Twenty20 team? White has an average of 41; Clarke’s average is just nudging 20.

If it was horses for courses, White would surely have been named Twenty20 captain for Australia. But Michael Clarke has been touted as a future Australian captain for a long time now, and this is probably his first step towards taking over the ODI and Test captaincies too – all in good time though.
