  1. I don,t know what others have answered, but have you returned to your Doctor?  I had a tonsillectomy and I got swimmers ear after surgery really bad, which is an overgrowth of yeast, and we have yeast all through our body. It can grow anywhere such as in the lining of our eyes etc. any moist area. If ever in doubt about any medical problem please talk with your doctor, all medical is considered confidential unless it is intended to harm self or others.

The white dot could be the starting of an overgrowth of yeast  or it could be nothing that would hurt you or it could be serious.

For your own peace of mind check it out, please.  Good luck!

  2. White dots in the throat are usually an indication of strep.  You'll need to go to the doctor for a strep test to confirm this and they will give you a prescription to cure it.  If you don't have health insurance, look for a clinic nearby that offers services on a free or sliding scale.   Good luck!

  3. well you didnt mention if you have a sore throat.... if you have no sour throat, its just scar tissue, if you have a sore throat, you may have strep

  4. Strep probabably. You can still get it even without tonsils. It could be scar tissue too.If you have a sore throat then get a throat culture and they will tell you what's up.
