White horizontal, zig-zagging lines

Question

All channels and DVD play. But white horizontal, zig-zagging lines run across the screen. There are about 14 bright white lines going up from right to left and 14 faint lines connecting the bright lines. The lines are slightly concave in the middle of screen. I think I heard a slight pop or crack when the lines appeared. The TV is 3 years old and I am out of warranty. Is this a possible/ reasonably priced fix or should I get a new TV.looks like blue lines going across tv screen (left to right) from the bottom yo top
