White light in my apartment for the baby shower??

i need white lighting in my home...but whenevr i get light bulbs its yellow colour light...ours is rented apartment so only kitchen have white light....i need white in 2 bed n living rooms...so whats the name of light i can get how many volts?shld have white light finallyyy...

Your best bet is to get a compact fluorescent bulb in a "cool white" color.  This will give off a nice white color without the yellow tint.  It is also good for the environment!

Fluorescent lights tend to be whiter.  There are also traditional bulbs that are sold under the heading of true white.  Reveal by GE is the name.

But I"m curious what that has to do with a baby shower.... hmmm.
