  1. okay so bassically all white noise is, is all the noises of the noise spectrum. meaning its just a big noise snowball and it usually is heard on the tv or radio


  2. white noise is noise at all frequencies.  most noise is made of subsets of different frequencies, and white noise is the broadband.

  3. It is a random, non-repetitive sound wave. Its energy is spread out across the whole frequency spectrum, so it doesn't have a pitch. It sounds like hissing. The sound of a TV with no signal is white noise.

    White noise has equal amplitude in all octave bands (amplitude = the distance the air molecules move, or size of the waves on an oscilloscope).
