Democrat. Why is that? Does one side not really love Jesus?

I'm not saying that ALL white people who love Jesus vote Republican, but that's certainly what they want you to think.

  1. WWJD?

  2. I think the majority of black people who claim to love Jesus will vote for the black candidate this time around.  I think race will transcend Party alignment for them this election.

What draws me to the Republican Party is conservatism and those conservative values are reflected in that Party (nothing to do with "religion" except those conservative values are similiar to Christian values).

  3. no zealots of the christian religion tend to vote republican not christians in general.

  4. White, Christian, Republican voters don't like anything that differs from their close minded lifestyles, in general, that's how the Republicans almost always win elections. African-American people, I can't say.

I live in one of those more southern towns where theres almost no other ethnicites, and they're very racist. Anyway no it dosen't necessarily mean that they don't believe, just a big difference in political allignment.

  5. I think that Christians all have good intentions but the vote isn't really as connected to religion as some folks want us to believe...

The Pro-Lifers want to own the Republican Party and the Unitarians want to own the Democrats...

Neither is going to happen in this century.

If anything, the good thing that has happened this year is that the Republicans have shut down the radical fundamentalists (except for Palin, evidently) and the Democrats have made an appeal to the "moral majority" so the lines are a little blurrier now...

  6. I see the Example of Jesus being one of Compassion and Peace loving, those 2 attributes are viewed as weak in the Republican Party.

  7. More importantly, what does Jesus think of it.

Sources close to Jesus have said that while Jesus loves us, he is not "in love"  with the American People. Rumors persist that Christ been seeing people from other nations.
