White roofs or black roofs?

Goodday people!!!

Now evey body knows the problem with the global warming. Now i saw a documentary on the television about ice. In that ice are holes that are black and absorb the heat and light off the sun witch makes the ice meld. Now i was wundering if we make all our blachroofs white so the sun will reflect the light and heat. What do you people think that this could help? Let me know

Good point raised. In my openion the roof colour may not be a very effective factor for the global warming. Mainly scientists agree on that the main reason for global warming is due to the different green house gases we throw in to the atmosphere. This is mostly from the fosil fuels we burn. And due to human behaviours like wasting or mismanagement of natural resources. So before we change our roofs we can still try many more effective things like minimizing to use the fossil fuels like coal or crude oils, air-conditioners, electricity, different types of papers, excessive garbage dumps and things like that.
