White screen on cell phone?

my phone is a motorola krzr with verizon and my main screen turned white, on occasion it will go back to normal. How can i fix it or do i need a new phone.

its probably water damaged therefore you gotta get a new phone. ooooorrrr its a very common thing with cell phones. happened to mine and i just took the batteries out for a while (2days) and it worked after i put it back in. so try taking out the batteries for at least 24 hours  and if its still white try 48 hours. if it's still white take it to your cell phone provider as soon as possible.
