Does anyone know what causes white speckles on garlic bulbs? They appear to be a fungus and it rots the bulb.

If anyone has any information on this, that would be great as it's really baffling us!

Thanks in advance.

  1. I think its mold.

  2. to much moisture, to wet

  3. It's mold.  Keep the garlic in your refigerator, not in a bag - just out.  That will keep it fresh as long as possible.  I have never gone through a whole garlic bulb - I just don't use it enough and they go bad.  It's no big deal, just throw it out and get more.

  4. Too wet and too hot.Not properly dried.
