Question:

White spots on indoor rose plant leaves? Help?

Hey everyone. I received an indoor rose plant for valentines day this year, and I have no experience whatsoever caring for one. I know it needs lots of light (like 15 hours a day or something) which isn't going to happen, because I dont have any really good windows that give that much light.

So I've been watering my plant with a rose plant miracle gro-water solution, which worked great for a little while, and my plant was getting huge! And looked really healthy.

But now that I'm looking at it a few months later, some of the leaves are falling off, and some of the healthy green leaves are getting white spots on them. (it comes off if I rub them gently with water)

So I'm wondering what that is, if I'm using too much miracle gro/water and I should just be alternating between miracle gro waterings, and plain water. Maybe some other tips for keeping my plant big and healthy! Thanks!

    from me:

bright light , air circulation, wash the plant monthly , don't get the foliage wet otherwise.
