Question:

White substance comes out (sperm or prostate liquid?)

I’m 34 years old. Sometimes when I go to pee after I'm done, I feel like I have a little bit left. So I push so as to let the rest out. I can feel it coming out like usual when I finish. But here lately when I do this a white substance comes out (sperm or prostate liquid???). Do I need to go see my doctor about this? Have this happened to any of you before?

Thanks for your attention!

  1. Go to the doctor & pee in a Dixie Cup so he can tell if there's a possible infection of some type & then will prescribe an antifbiotic for 7 to 10 days - then, do a re-check to make sure it's cleared up.

  2. You are rather young to be having issues with your prostate, but not that young.  I recommend that you see a doctor, as difficulty voiding can be indicative of serious problems.  Ask your doctor to preform a digital rectal exam.  Most men do not start getting these as part of their physical until 40, so I imagine you've never had one done.  This exam will allow the doctor to access your prostate.

It is really important to take matters like this seriously.  Prostate issues can be very serious.

  3. Let me see if I understood correctly. After your o****m, you go urinate and a white substance comes out?

If that's the case, and it is not a major quantity, I'd bet it is the remaining s***n left in the urethra, but if it is a lot, I'd go see a doctor.

    Hope it helped.

  4. i agree with Robert Y; there is a blood test if you do not feel up to getting a rectal exam to check you prostate--PSA test can indicate any issues with it.  I have never heard of this before so go and just see a doctor at your age you still have a lot to live for.

  5. It could be the sign of an infection dear. See the Doctor if you can, just to be sure...
