Question:

White thing on teeth in infants???

my baby is 2 months old and I just noticed a white soft like tooth in gums.

She wasn't full term. She was 5 weeks early.

I touched it and it peeled off a little but it looks like a tooth, just not as hard. Can someone tell me if I should be concerned.

Here is the link to a picture I took of it.

  1. My daughter would get white blisters on her gums that resembled teeth but were not. They did not cause any harm and the doc was not concerned. If you notice any white on the toungue  take her in because she may have thrush.(yeast infection of the mouth caused by them holding milk in their mouth) For piece of mind you can call anyway but she is most likely just fine

  2. i wish i could help but i cant really tell what im looking at in the picture a clearer pic would help.. sorry :/

  3. the pic is not to clear,

Did you talk to your Doctor?

But : you know can you feel any thing under the gums?

or it could be some calculus,  just  "tarter" or milk  from you ?

have water in a baby bottle let the baby drink that an see what happens , but talk to your baby doc
