White things after a storm?

when i was indiana there were alot of bad stroms and also tornadoes, but then when it was over there were white things floating in the air after words. what is that?

  1. Ohh... it might be fog.


  2. Was it cold enough after,  that it could of been snow? Or maybe it was ash from a nearby fire
