White things stuck in the back of my throat, what can they be?

Skeeter - Looks like your right... so if i just scrape them out, ill be ok with that then?

  1. You may have a yeast infection, such as Candida. Your doctor can take a swab of your throat to determine what it is. If it is yeast, your doctor will prescribe an antifungal mouth rinse that you swish and swallow to kill the yeast. It is best to get it taken care of right away. If you were to become ill and your immune system becomes compromised it can become a serious problem.

    Edit: (answering second question) - Only women get vaginal yeast infections. Anyone can develop an esophageal, mouth or skin yeast infection . Yeast is just like staph or strep that lives all over our bodies. They are opportunistic and usually only cause a problem when our defenses are down (immune system is weakened).
