White things stuck in the back of my throat, what can they be?

You may have a yeast infection, such as Candida. Your doctor can take a swab of your throat to determine what it is. Edit: (answering second question) - Only women get vaginal yeast infections. Anyone can develop an esophageal, mouth or skin yeast infection . Yeast is just like staph or strep that lives all over our bodies. They are opportunistic and usually only cause a problem when our defenses are down (immune system is weakened).

Sounds like strep throat to me... you should ask your doctor
