White vans?

Question

Anyone sick to death of white works vans parked in residential areas? In my cul de sac its a h**l of a problem and its getting me down. Is there anything we can do about it?

I hear you on this one...I used to drive a stretch limo that I would keep with me overnight...I would not dream of putting it on a residential street, so I kept it at a shopping center just down the street...If the work vans are used by residents on the block, they have the right to keep them there, especially if they are on-call...But I agree, they should be put in a place where they will not interfere with other neighbors...You might casually mention your concerns to the drivers...Unless it is expressly forbidden for commercial vehicles to park, there is not too much you can do.

well, you'd be moaning if you needed a builder/plumber/electrician and they wernt coming to you because they wernt aloud to park there

A. Yeah you can call your rental office are patrolman {police}

B. Are ask him not to park in your parking space.

C. Ask the landlord to make reserved parking spaces the you can have anyone in your parking space towed away.

as long as they are road legal & legally parked

I:E not causing an obstruction there is nothing you can do

Unfortunately there is no legal right to park outside  your own property in UK law

Why not move to a neighborhood where street parking isn't allowed, or maybe out your car in your garage, or driveway.

Sounds like you have it pretty good if this is your biggest problem.....
