Whiteboard alternative???

Question

I need to find an alternative to using a whiteboard for one of the walls in my apartment's living room, the wall is about 10' x 12' i think. Its not necessary to fill up the whole wall, even tho it would be awesome, but i need to fill up about 60-75% of the wall. I've heard of people using shower board instead because it is much cheaper, if anyone has any info on where to find and buy it that would be helpful.

Sorry are you meaning a white board or dry wall?  if you are looking for a whiteboard alternative think glass, I had some (tempered for safety) attached to a wall and it was fabulous to scribble on, and ofcourse the kids and friends loved it, it does need professional installation for something large though, otherwise plexiglass is next on my list, also fantastic.
