Whiten teeth quick!! Home remedies

Question

Would like to get whiter teeth and preferably without spending a fortune on whitening kits and strips that don't even work. If you have a home remedy that works quickly and is easy than please help!

The most common option used as homemade teeth whitening agent is baking soda, which has a mild bleaching action. Given that it is used in baking, it also implies safety. Baking soda is sprinkled on the toothbrush, and teeth then cleaned using a gentle, circular motion. Care should still be taken though, especially for people with gum sensitivity. Old wives’ recipes often state that a paste of baking powder, a little salt, and a few drops of white vinegar, works effectively.

Salt, used exactly as baking soda, is also touted as being a good teeth whitener. However, it might just be its osmosis, dehydrating action that makes teeth appear whiter, since dehydrated teeth look whiter.

Lemon juice is often used, but it had high acidic levels, so teeth can weaken in the long run. Other natural, fruit options regard rubbing the inside of an orange peel on the teeth. A strawberry cut in half and the inside rubbed on teeth also works. Mashed strawberry can also be applied with a toothbrush. Apple cider vinegar is also said to be effective. Dried orange rind, and walnut bark, is also good.

brush with baking soda, ive been doing that for about a week and have noticed a difference.

do NOT use strawberries.  strawberries will rub of important layers of your teeth so that your teeth will turn yellow continuously in the long term.  its a short term fix that will damage your teeth forever.

Do not use  baking soda, it will take the enamel off your  teeth.  I asked my dentist about it and he was very stern about the warning.  They used to use baking soad in the old days but then they lost a lot of their teeth as well.

I think the Crest strips are the best rated for home use, and I used them with moderate results.    I eventually got a Zoom treatment by my dentist for $299.  I was very pleased with the results.  It has been 2 years, and it has faded a bit, but for about a year I looked like a Hollywood star....lol.

I also use a whitening toothpaste and mouth wash.   You get what you pay for.

2. Rub the white part of strawberries over your teeth (sounds weird, but it works!!)
