Whiterock Champ aiming hat trick through winning the UK Packaging Supplies Stakes at Harlow
The UK Packaging Supplies Stakes will be held at Harlow over 415 metres hurdle on Sunday, 6th May. Taking part in the £150 event are Romeo In Miami, Dooey Royal, Any Questions, Whiterock Champ, Farloe Bowser and Clonkeen Theo.
The most accomplished hound among all the contestants is Whiterock Champ, Tyrur Ted’s five-year-old black and white son out of b***h, Gotoon Trendy. His performance has remained pretty consistent ever since March with stumbling to a fifth position just once
on 17th March at Crayford.
From 3rd March till 26th April, Whiterock Champ has won four times out of the nine starts that he undertook. He won the Nicholas Norman: Closet Aussie Supporter on 10th March at Wimbledon over 480 metres.
Whiterock Champ timed the track distance in 30.30 seconds and led the runner up, Taylors Trophy, by a short head’s difference. Parking third behind the winner was Handy Manny while the 7/4 favourite of the race, Skywalker Falcon, ended fifth.
He missed the next two races, first to a fifth position and then ended third.
The second success in the month of March was in the Coral Co.UK Hurdle on 29th March at Hove over 515 metres. The winner raced through the track distance in 30.77 seconds and took command of the final 1 ¼ lengths.
Baran Bally Hi finished the closest after racing for 30.87 seconds. Stationing third behind the winner was Royal Premium. The 4/5 favourite of the race, Glenashe Rock, ended fifth.
The Crayford Bookmakers Stayers Hurdle on 14th April over 540 metres saw him qualifying as the runner up. The 6/4 favourite winner of the race, Rancey Beauty, timed the distance in 34.94 seconds.
The last two races that he took part in culminated into victories.
He was the 6/4 favourite winner of the H2 480 metres Hurdle on 20th April at Wimbledon after clocking the track distance in 29.73 seconds. Handy Manny, the runner up took 29.89 seconds after leaping through the two lengths by which the winner
led.
On 26th April in the Coral Hurdle over 515 metres at Hove, Whiterock Champ settled the distance in 31.19 seconds and had the runner up, Clonkeen Theo, finishing after the gap of 2 ¼ lengths.
He is in complete form to strike a hat trick tonight.
