What is it about this opponent that makes you dislike them so?

Kind of obvious for being a Leafs fan- I hate the Senators.  I never totally loathed them like I do now, until they killed the Leafs 8-0...and kept doing it.  I also hate how they always do the interviews on their bikes.  It's so annoying! Just like Spezzas laugh.

I also hate the Flyers, becuase my mom is a Flyers fan from way back, and they're better than the Leafs, and you just need that rivalry.

As a Kitchener Rangers fan, I hate the London Knights.  These two teams are usually always vying for the top spot, so it's an intense rivalry.  And now my favourite player just went to the Knights.  But I've always found the Knights dirty players, and way to cocky for their own good.

As a longtime fan of the Washington Capitals, I have always hated the Philadelphia Flyers.

There was a time when the Capitals and the Flyers were in the Patrick and these two teams just hated each other with a passion.  I have naturally hated the Philadelphia Flyers and I do to this very day.

I'm a Devils fan so you already know the answer - The Rangers. They're just such a pathetic organization. Their '94 cup was won by the Edmonton Oilers. I have no respect for that organization at all, especially after last years' playoffs in which Sean Avery was allowed to cheat. He did something that you would get yelled at for in pee wee, let alone the NHL. I've seen that organization pull c**p like that since I was in diapers and they still they can't get close to the kind of success the Devils have had. And they love, love, love more than anything to talk trash about the Islanders but who are they kidding? The Islanders won the same amount of cups in a decade that it took the Rangers almost a century to do. I pity their fans.

I root for the Wild...and I cannot stand the Vancouver Cafucks.  Everytime they come into Minny they cheap shot gaborik, try to get Bouchard to fight, and...Matt Cooke can burn in h**l.  Really.  Worst instigator in the league.  Boogaard needs to beat him into a bloody pulp, and then skate over him.  The Cafucks have no class, no skill, and they think they're so good.

Boston. - Being a leafs fan but that will change very soon after adding some very experienced players to our lineup. In my opinion, It's fun and exciting to play against the Ottawa Senators. To the other leaf fan, remember we were like 5-5 against Ottawa last season so not bad.

i'm a caps fan and in hate the flyers and the pens.

both briere and crosby suck. crosby is the biggest whiner i've seen and a prettyboy i dont see way everyone likes him. even if i were a pens fan i wouldnt like him he is a embarrassment to that team.

flyers because they beat us in the playoffs. and they play drity no class.

im  caps dude I hate the pens because 1. crosby 2. because the way some of their fans act (i've had first hand experiences) 3. They took away cooke from the caps, i liked him. 4. look at the caps and pens history as rivals specially during the playoffs how could anybody who grew up a caps fan root for those guys? I have bad blood for some other teams but am too lozy to write about it

The Habs!!!

Beat us for years until the late 80's early 90's, now they kick our a** again. Made it close in the playoff, but game 7 showed the real B's.

  Hey hey Wings..

     Funny you mentioned nothing about the Ducks being 8-2 against your Wings the last 2 playoff meetings. I give you Pronger is a goon, but he can also play some serious hockey.. it's not like all he does if attack people. As fas as Socal shouldn't have a team.. if you want to start that argument then let's talk about not selling out playoff games. Get over yourself. Neids and Selanne will be back for the whole season this year and I fully expect the Ducks and Wings to be 1 & 2 in the West. Not sure which order but another playoff tilt is likely and thus the rivalry will be renewed once again.

     If you can't tell right now the Wings are the team I dispise the most followed closely by Dallas and San Jose.  I would say the Kings but until they are competitive they can't have a vote.

I'm a Devils fan, and of course I don't like the Rangers!  No reason really, just the rivalry.  It's in my nature to dislike them!  Having annoying Sean Avery on the team didn't help much, and losing the season series 1-7, and losing in the playoffs 1-5 to the Rangers made it worse.

Devils fan- The Rangers and Flyers are my most hated hockey teams. The series always goes back and forth. Hated the Rangers even more becuase they had Sean Avery. He is a goon. A player who only plays to check and hurt people. The Penguins are starting to move up on my most hated list.

Oilers = second best to root for

Canucks = third best to root for

Senators = fourth best to root for

Canadiens = fifth best to root for

Leafs (yuk yuk puke) = sixth best, if necessary I will root for them.

As an Islanders fan since 1974,  I despise the Rags... errr.. I mean the Blue Skirts...opps, excuse me...the Rangers. Why?  because they are the Rags. I don't need any other reason.

Anaheim Ducks.  Dirty team.  Their captain should not be in the NHL anymore after so many suspensions.  The entire team is a bunch of goons.  Their goalie wears mattress pads.  Scott Niedermayer and Selanne can fake retire to get past the salary cap.  And on top of that, Nieds can miss half of a season and then participate in an All Star Gam?  Brian Burke is a moron and tried to get rid of the octopus (the greatest tradition in all of hockey).  And Southern California should not be a place to have a hockey team in the first place.

But if we are talking of all time, I would have to say the Aves of the mid to late 90's and early 2000's.
