My opinion - Fedor Emelianenko

He has superior striking abilities as well as a polished ground game. Take a look at the video... he takes on someone who is 14 inches taller and 125 pounds heavier. Yet, he still figures out a way to beat him.

  2. I'm going to say Randy Couture. Sure Fedor hasn't lost and is dominant but you can't question Couture's heart. He has a heart of a champion. He's well into his 40's and he's actually getting better. He trains with some of the world's best. He doesn't quit.

  3. It has to be Fedor, this isn't even open for debate.  He hasn't been beaten in eight years, his only real defeat back in 2000? was a fluke cut and many don't even consider that a loss.

He has beaten a bunch of former and current UFC heavyweight champs: Nogioera, Coleman, Sylvia and Randleman.   His mix of a great stand up with an amazing ground game make him not only the best heavyweight, but arguably the best pound for pound fighter as well.

What I like most about him is not only how dominant he his, but the way he wins.  He faces an opponent and beats them with their own strength.  He went after Crocop andSylvia with strikes.  And he went after Nogioera and Coleman with wrestling.

And to top it all off, he is like  robot in the ring, never showing any emotion, even when someone gets him in a bad position.  When Randleman dropped him on his head, he didn't even appear nervous for a second.  The guy is a machine, period.

  4. Brock Lesnar without a doubt.

  5. i like to believe randy couture is since he now has good stand up striking, but its hard to ignore the fact that fedor murdered tim sylvia in 30 seconds.
