Who'll get the wooden spoon this year in the AFL? Will it be Melbourne or Essendon, or is there another team?

Just curious... also, do you think that Brisbane or Bulldogs or Hawks have a chance of the premiership? Would like to see a team other than Geelong win this year... just to share things round a bit... they are an awesome team, am not bagging them at all, just want to see if anyone thinks they can be beaten... :)

I'm guessing the spoon will be between Freo, Melbourne and West Coast.

Geelong, Hawthorn, Dogs, and Adelaide will all be playing deep into the finals

i definately think that this year might be year toremember for the yellow and brown, they are going tremendously at the moment and i don't think their streak is going to end anytimesoon. melbourne and essendon are pretty neck and neck for the wooden spoon, but for some reason i think that fremantles season is going down the toilet and with only a few good players and a few lucky wins i think that they are pretty close to ending up at the bottom.

hey, as a Carlton supporter I'm thankful we aren't favourites for the spoon for once. I believe Essendon may bounce back into the season but might not make it close to the 8. Melbourne is my choice for the spoon as they are in a hole they can't dig themselves out of, losing netiz has made things worse. And i believe the hawks will have a hard time in the finals. And to sum it all up, Geelong Cup Favourites 08, for now

WCE is my hot tip for the wooden spoon but Melbourne will fight hard for it to get the good draft picks..

Bulldogs have a good chance to upset the Hawks and possibly play in the finals (well im hoping anyways!)

Melbourne for the wooden spoon, although West Coast will come close to it as well.  Would love to see Brisbane win the flag but I don't think they will this year, maybe next year.  I think the Hawks will do it this year, I definately want to see someone other than Geelong win as I don't particularly like them.  They can be beaten, as that happened last night when Collingwood flogged them, I think this will be the start of their downward slide.

Personally I don't think Essendon will win the wooden Spoon, and I actually believe it will be Melbourne. I reckon Western Bulldogs have a pretty good chance of winning the premiership and they shure deserve it.
