Who's Gettin Pumped for the Brewers-Cubs Series?

This will be a huge series. Both their best pitchers dueling out in a four game set. As a Cub fan, I know lots of others who are worried, but I am very excited.

Hopefully we can try to keep this a clean cut respectable series without any low blows or cheap shots. I know my Cub friends and Brewer fan friends will be there to try and keep the peace and make it fun.

Cub fans? Brewers fans?

i am pumped! (and worried a little cuz we suck on the road and the brewers are hot)  but I certainly hope we can beat the brew crew!

I've been waiting for this series for a while. But, I'm not real thrilled that it's happening at a time when the Brewers are heating up. Should be a lot of fun for a few reasons - first, it may be a good chance to see if the Brewers really are that good, or if the Cardinals are starting to fall off. (getting swept 4 straight at home - ouch) It should be  a great atmosphere in the ballpark because you will see a good number of Cubs fans up there, and although the teams have become rivals over the last couple of seasons, the fans of the 2 teams seem to be pretty respectful of one another (can you imagine if this question was about the Yankees and Red Sox - answers would almost be required to use the word sucks.) And it just might end up being a preview of the NLCS (The I-94 Series I suppose)

The best thing is that this year the folks that set the schedule seem to have gotten it right - 6 games between these two teams over about the last 2 weeks of the season.

The opther reason I'm looking forward to it is that I will probably flip the radio on to WTMJ at least for a while - I always liked listening to Uecker, and it's kind of fun to get the other teams side of things once in a while. (I think I'm the only person in Chicago with WTMJ on a preset in the car - nothing better then catching the end of one of their games rather then waiting for Sportscenter.)

Should be lots of fun. And congratulations to the fans of both teams that have managed to answer this question in an intelligent and respectful way. If this rivalry should continue to get bigger, it's nice to know that it can still be respectful - sort of a "we want to beat the snot out of you, but we still have some respect for you" type of thing. Best type of rivalry you can ever have. (But please, don't expect the same when it comes to the Packers. LOL.)

I am pumped for this series, especially after the Cards.

I'll be there for the whole series-scheduled it months ago and I've never been happier.

The pitching is phenomenal, I am excited...it's a great feeling to be a Brewers fan right now. I know Cubbies must be feeling the same about their team.

It'll be interesting to see how the fans get along since there'll be plenty of each...I can't wait.

As a brewer fan I'm very excited for this series!  With sellouts for all 4 games, what's not to love about it?

This is gonna be a preview of the nlcs.  Im gonna pick the brewers for this series.

I'm very excited for this series.  I think it will be a major series that could very well determine how things finish out the rest of the year.  I know it's only July, but with everyone being so close, it's very important.

And with the Brewers coming off a 4-game sweep of St. Louis, and an 8 game win streak, AND a 7-0 roadtrip, things are looking mighty good back at Miller Park.

Im betting on Brew Town to win majority of the games in that series. They are at home and has been playing at a playoff level for the past month at least. It will be a very good series nonetheless.
