  1. Shaq. Wilt was just the best in his time because there's no other taller guy that can defend against him well. While shaq being new was good enough not to be overshadowed by great players like david robinson and hakeem

  2. Back when Wilt was playing....all his team did was give da ball 2 Wilt(cauz dats how dominant he was). Nobody could stop his fade away from or his dunks. I would say Shaq though cauz NOBODY dat ansewed your question actually saw Wilt play back in da 60's/70's

EDIT: Oh yeah he did play with midgets. Thanks 4 reminding me Haloengel. He was da biggest and strongest player in his time. Dat was back when da C's were normally 6"8 through 6"10 while he was 7"0(not gonna lie...im not sure bout his height but i know he was in da 7 foot range)

    EDIT:

and oh yeah...da coach kinda let Wilt build up his stats. Didnt take him out da game. just told everbody give it 2 wilt

  3. shaq of the lakers that won 3 years. wilt, if he plays in the league now, will surely adjust to the type of play that the NBA is currently having. body-wise, shaq will surely have the bulk against wilt. and comparing to the defenders back then, physicality now is much greater compared to that of wilt's time. that's one of the reasons why wilt had all those scoring records. people today have been lifting weights and investing on their physical condition. shaq's power is just overwhelming inside the paint. nobody can stop shaq at his prime! he was the biggest mismatch of the league back then. and with the competitive mentality that shaq has, he really has the advantage over wilt.

  4. no doubt wilt

  5. wilt, no question.

  6. Wilt. The NBA is too fast for a prime shaq to do real damage plus Shaq never had to play against prime time great centers. he would have his hands full with yao, howard, duncan and a fast break offense that the league has now.  Shaq reminds me somuch of mike tyson where i his prime you lnew Shaq was going for the drop step dunk almost eash and every time and could just adjust to it. Shaq would still give 20 and 10 in th league but he would have had to compete with other players in their prime also.

where as wilt had finese and power so he wouldn't exspell all his energy going for a dunk or a lay-up. He would have been more of a duncan like player just wouldn't have the spot up shotting ability

  7. Shaq isn't even the best center of his time, Hakeem Olajuwon is. I don't know why so many people sleep on him. He just had the misfortune of having his prime be during the Jordan era. Remember the 95 finals?

  8. Wilt!

  9. Wilt Chamberlain is

    Stronger than Shaq

    Faster than Shaq

    Has more Post-Moves than Shaq

    Much more Athletic than Shaq

    Better Scorer than Shaq

    Better Defender than Shaq

    Better Rebounder than Shaq

Did you know that Wilt averaged 48.5 minute per game for 1 season and 45.8 min pg for his career ? i guess not ...

So that alone show how much strength he had ..

Oh was he able to rebound alot because he was playing agianst Midgets ?

in 71-72 season Wilt Chamberlain Averaged 19.2 rebounds at age 35~~~~~and Kareem Abdul-Jabber averaged only 16.6 at age 24 ...

Shaq gone against 7 ft-ers...So did Charles Barkley ... and he has higher rebound average than Shaq ... and he is only 6'5

Ben Wallace averaged 13.6 rebounds against Shaq in The Finals compared to Shaq's 10.8 rebounds ..

I guess Ben ( whose 6'9 ) was playing against midgets to huh ?

Did you know that Wilt averaged 8.6 assist for 1 season ? compared to Shaq's Career high 3.7 ast pg

Plus Wilt didn't have all the training and medical help that Shaq had ...

Lol you wanna mock on Wilt's FT in  Playoffs ? how about Shaq's 33% in playoffs ?

Elgin Baylor averaged 20 rebounds per game in 60-61 ...and he is 6'5

As much as i like Shaq i'll take Hakeem Olajuwon over him ... let me remind you he didn't play against midgets ...

And he once averaged 2.6 steals and 3.4 block same season .. something Shaq never could do .. not even in his dream

  10. Shaq got more rings...SO WHAT? Wilt was MVP in his ROOKIE SEASON, Wilt scored a century, Wilt averaged a triple double the entire season in more than one season. Need I say more?

  11. wilt

  12. Shaquille O'Neal.

Wilt Chamberlain played with midgets.Go Youtube and watch all his videos.Other then a Celtics matchup which would put him in a hard spot versus Bill Russell, all he does is turn and lay it in.

Wilt is the better player though, not because Shaquille has Kobe Bryant or any of that bullshit.Wilt played far longer and has fared against the likes of Russell.

    Shaquille has faced Hakeem,but..

  13. i pick wilt

  14. wilt...ever heard of the 100 point game and the 55rebound performance =))

    dumb question.....
