Ok stats aside, I think Kobe's better coz even though he doesn't attempt reverse dunks on 7 foot centers he can be the difference between a win and a loss, Kobe's relentless on offense, he can find players and has a tenacious work ethic on the court.

Wade is also good especially now coming back from injury, I seriously believe that if Miami can get some wins this season Wade will be a strong candidate for MVP.

Kobe is better while both are supreme players with similar offensive skill levels. kobe has the better defense and is money in the clutch he is also bigger than Dwade which most people say doesn't mean alot but all those trips to the hole finally caught up with Dwade and his team suffered. Kobe plays through pain and sometimes performs better. Dwade has better public image though.

Wade at full health is the best shooting guard in the league and has more impact on a game down the stretch than Kobe. He is a more complete player.

For others: I don't approve of discussing players in terms of 'best ever' which doesn't make sense. You can say the best at a given position. Different players play different positions and have different roles. Saying Jordan is the greatest ever makes no sense if you have to compare him to Wilt or Shaq. Thank you NBA marketing machine for creating this idiotic concept.

If you throw Lebron in, you would have to use 'forward' because he plays like a small and power all at the same time. He will be the most dominant forward ever (40 per night easy) if he adds a post up game and a better 3.

Kobe Bryant has won more NBA Championships, has won more scoring titles and has won more MVP's. He is clearly better than Dwayne Wade right now, but as Dwayne continues to develop he has the potential to become better than Kobe Bryant.  But, as of right now, Kobe is better.
