  1. ravens over the bengals

    jags over the titans

    browns over the boys

    jets over the fins

    saints over the bucs

  2. Baltimore will definately beat Cincy.

    JAC will edge out TEN.

DAL will crush and destroy CLE.

    JETS will beat MIA.

NO and TB will be a close game - who knows?  My pick is TB.

  3. Bengals have the offense, but no defense.

Ravens have the defense but no offense.

I have to go with the Ravens, because they are at home, and the Bengals running game is a question mark, as is Chad Johnson's shoulder and Palmer's broken nose.

Jacksonville at Tennessee - I have to go with Jacksonville. I just don't see Tennessee having much of an offense (no WRs) or thier defense being able to stop the Jags running game or special teams.

Dallas at Cleveland - Both teams are loaded on offense, so that evens out. The deciding factor here will be the defense. The Cowboys have a great defense, especially with Adam (Pacman) Jones and Tank Johnson added to the mix. The Cleveland defense says they have improved, but I just don't think they have the tools to hang with the Boys the whole game. I have to pick the Cowboys.

Jets at Miami - This is one of the most interesting matchups of the day. The Jets new QB (Favre) and rejuvinated spirit against Miami's new GM (Parcells) and also rejuvinated spirit. This is going to come out to be one of those great inner division games like they used to be.

I am going to go with Miami, simply because they are at home. The Jets will get the next one they play in New York.

Tampa Bay at New Orleans - New Orleans is at home and will be throwing the ball a lot, while Tampa will try to establish the run. Tampa's defense is better. I will have to say Tampa in this game because the Saints are having to fly all over the country just to practice so they can avoid the hurricane. By Sunday, the game may not even be able to be played in New Orleans if the hurricane hits hard on Monday. If this turns into another Katrina, the Saints won't be able to focus on football. You may even have to be ready for this game to be postponed.

    Stay tuned.

  4. Jaguars

    Cowboys

    Jets

    Saints

  5. bengals

    jacksonville

    dallas

    jets

    new orleans

  6. bengals-ravens==crummy game of the week.

Outcome depends on which team has the least team members in jail that day.

  7. Bengals - better offense

    Jacksonville- better offense

Dallas- They are the best team in the NFC

    Jets - Bret Favre

    New Oreleans - Better QB

  8. The Bengals are better. They have much more talent. They have the dominant offense and their defense, although it has talent, is usually unmotivated. But look at Chad Johnson's trade demand as motivation for them. The Ravens just have an aging defense and a rookie quarterback with no protection.

The Jaguars will win because they are a complete team this year while Vince Young is still unproven. Plus the Titans defense is getting kind of old.

Jets are better then Miami because of all their big offseason moves.

Saints are better then Bucs because they fixed their defense with Vilma and Randall g*y while the Bucs defense is aging. And the Saints offense is still dominant while Garcia, Graham, and Galloway may not be as great as last year (not to mention they have no offensive line).

And the Cowboys should beat the Browns because while Dallas has great recievers, Cleveland's weakness is the secondary. Romo should be able to easily connect with Owens.

  9. Bengals > Ravens

    Jags > Titans

    Cowboys > Browns

    Jets > Dolphins

    Saints > Fu*kaneers

  10. Week 1 is always the toughest to pick.

I would go with Baltimore, I just think they are more consistent than Cincinnati.

I would have gone with Jacksonville, but with the Fred Taylor drama, who knows?

Dallas, Cleveland is a good team but I don't think they can handle the "Big D" .

Jets, they got Bret Farve, and he just makes them look so much better on paper and Miami is in complete rebuilding.

Tampa, with the Hurricane on its way as we speak, the Saints have much more on their mind than football.
