Who's better Carmelo Anthony or Tracy Mcgrady?

WOW people stats mean nothing... Mike James averaged about 20+ when he was on Toronto but does that make him better or as good as Wade or Kobe?

But as for the question, TMac is better than Melo... Tmac has more moves, is more versatile, and just an all-around better player... Its not about who made it to team USA, im sure TMac couldve played he just probably didnt want to... And whoever said Melo is quicker than Tmac has no sense at all, I'll give him stronger, but quicker no... McGrady has the best pull-up in the NBA, maybe with Gilbert Arenas 2nd... Melo doesnt really have an identity when it comes to offense, that may show his versatility, but he needs a bread an butter.. He shoots 3's and drives, then sometimes he will back down an fadeaway... TMa's bread an butter is to come off a screen an pull up a 3, even tho he could easily take it to the rack or shoot fadeaways, but recently he's been shooting jumpers alot more than driving the lane now, probably because he doesnt want to injure his back... But yea, Tmac is a better player than Carmelo

Tracy Mcgrady is a more all around player, better defender, passer and a better team player. And has won a scoring title. So i think that answers your question about scoring.

Tmac...He is a better scorer, esp. when he decides to take it to the rim, but today he settles a lot for jumpers. Melo to me seems even less aggressive and his jump shot needs work. In addition I don't know how many times I've seen him get frustrated and purposely foul someone in an unnecessarily hard manner.

McGrady, when healthy is a better player. The problem is he's never been healthy for the last couple of years. I'll take Carmelo over him in both real and fantasy.

tmac. this guy can practically shoot anywhere on the court. melo's trey's aren't that much of a threat compared to that of tmacs. and unlike melo, tmac is way quicker than him. what melo has is a big, wide body that makes him post up sf's defending him. also, tmac can soar higher than that of melo. tmac dunks ferociously and can posterize anyone on the court. i haven't seen melo dunking on somebody else's faces the way tmac did on bradley.

I think T-Mac is a better player because he can take over a game and dominate it no matter what his supporting cast is, much like Jordan. I'm not saying he is on the same level, just that you can put the game on his shoulders and he'll carry the team. Mello hasn't shown that killer instinct yet. Plus Mellos' style reminds me of Karl Malone. McGrady is fluid and he has a beautiful jumper, unlike Mello whose jumper dinks and danks around the rim a few times, spins, and eventually falls. To end it I'll say this; imagine if T-Mac hadn't left the Magic and they had drafted Dwight Howard. That would be and unstoppable team vs. if the Magic had Mello. Mello has better stats, but I still feel McGrady is just a more dominant player.
