Right now....

Lebron is  better than Kobe, simply because he's more versatile... He can do more better than kobe... He can rebound better, pass better, block shots better, and carry his team better... Kobe has a better shot, and is alot smoother with is game and it appears he has better on ball defense (but watching the olympics showed lebron has better d than everyone thought, but lebron cant stick D too hard in the NBA because he needs energy to score on the other end, Kobe doesnt anymore with the addition of Pau Gasol so he can use energy at both ends...I dont remember him being first team all defense 2 years ago) and lebron took his team to the championship against the spurs with no one who you can name on his team, and then played the celtics better than kobe's stacked lakers team did and almost won... So Lebron is better...

At the end of their careers......

Lebron again... He might go down as the best player of all time if he wins enough championships... The guy came in the league dominating, and he only gets better and better and is still 23 so he has about 13 more years.... Hopefully he wins alot of championships, which I believe he will

Right now, Kobe. Lebron has to learn to be consisten on the perimeter and stop overhandiling the ball, he's not helping his team by doing that he's just puuting to much pressure on himself, but hey it seems everybody says that is why he is so great. Watch how Kobe waits for the ball to get to him instead of just drbbling and dribling as Lebron does. Yes both players shoot a high % of the team's total attemps but that is their roll, however Kobe creates better scoring opportunities. Yet BOTH ARE JUST JORDAN's WANNA BEs kobe has the same moves and Lebron says he doesn't want to be compared to the real 23 but yet he wears the 23, compares himself to Jordan because he has to play the Detrit pistons, such a loosers both for that, they won't get even close to the one and only MJ23
