Who's better chad cornes or gaz ablett jnr?

I would say Chad Cornes, he is much more versitile than Gaz. Chad can play at anywhere in the forward lines, anywhere in defence (especially centre half back) and plays in the midfield.

Now tell me can Gary Ablett do that.The answer is NO.

Jonathan Brown is the best in the AFL at this time. Of the two though I would argue Ablett, mainly because he is an in and under player where Cornes hangs out the back to get the easy touches, which make his stats look good.

chad cornes does get a lot of uncontested footy but that being said he's had consistent good seasons year in/out. gary ablett well he's always been great but this is his first stand out year. i'd be interested to see him break taggers come next season.

so yeah going with chad because if your just saying "better" chad has experience on him at this point. sorta like how you wouldn't just say foley is better than judd even though he's leading the comp in clearances this season

Hmmmmmm thats a toughie.....but I`ll vote for Gaz. Not by much though. The Brownlow should be close this year with the seasons those guys have had.

i rather chad cornes but garry ablett jnr is alot better, chad cornes m,ainly plays as a free man with no tagger or anything and most of his touches are given to him, gary ablett has someone on him all the time and still plays just as good, if not better

I agree with Big Kev Cornes is definately more versatile, However, when u have a player like Ablett Jnr on the ball and then resting in the forward pocket, it's also puts a little more pressure on back lines.

I would be happy to have either one of them at Hawthorn
