Who's currently the best ISP in the UK?

Don't even dare mention Virgin Media! My contract with them will be ending soon and I'm currently searching for a new ISP.

My next ISP and the service they offer needs to be the exact opposite of Virgin Media, i.e:

- Fast download and upload speeds

- Good customer service

- No traffic shaping (or very minimal)

Can you guys recommend anyone?

  1. Never had a problem since i have used Sky.

  2. BT

and dont choose TALK TALK or you will suffer the pain

  3. I was with AOL for years, they weren't cheap but I found them brilliant and their customer service was excellent. E-mail, everything, very straightforward, fast, and geared to the user.

I only changed because my partner moved in and wanted multi channel TV, ( I rarely watch tv) plus he thought I was paying too much just for my ISP lol. So I switched, sad day for me, but h**l love is blind lol. I am with who you wish to get rid of and feel the same way you do. I am a bit of a technophobe but should I find out how he can have his TV and I can return to AOL I would do it tomorrow.

If you want the cheapest just look at who is in the market, if you want the best, then I would recommend AOL.

    Hope this helps x.

    "Edit"

What's with the TD? You an employee? I gave a legitimate answer to the Q, if you disagree then edit your response. I was with AOL for eight years and never had a problem, one can only speak from personal experience and that was mine.
