Who's done anything with INTRAX Study Abroad?

  1. The one thing I DO know about them is they are not CSIET listed. CSIET is Council on Standards For International Educational Travel and the maintain oversight of different programs. Most high schools will NOT work with programs not on this list.

I haven't heard of them...I would either go through a university program (if you want credit and liability protection) or a study abroad organization that has been around a long time like the National Registration Center for Study Abroad (http://www.nrcsa.com - they have been around since 1968, and I studied with them back in 1997).

    A lot of study abroad companies have gone broke in the last 15 years since there are so many of them, so be careful who you go through.

  3. I haven't gone anywhere with Intrax yet, but I'm going to be using their program to go to Japan this summer. Also, the main reason I'm answering is because of the person who said it isn't on the CSIET list. It IS on the list, simply under a different name. It's listed under AYUSA. AYUSA and Intrax are pretty much one and the same.
