  1. It will ALWAYS be the person who carried it out, it will be the victims fault if he/she was asking for it (sluttiness....), and it would be the states fault if they did not have effective laws to somehow prevent it.

  2. The fault goes directly to the person who carried out the nasty deed.!! When a criminal decides to carry out a crime, they have no concious to stop them. Their main goal is to dominate and control another at will. Some people blame themselves because they dressed or acted ''S****y ''. Others never see or meet the person that tears their life apart in a moment of violence as they walk from the house  to thier car in baggy sweats. I hope this helps, good luck.

  3. the person who carried it out because everyone, no matter if you're rich or poor, has some kind of moral compass unless someone grows up in a completely backward social environment, and that person must have known that what they did was bad.

looking further, you could blame the state for putting that person in a bad social environment in the first place, but when it comes down to it, it's the person who committed the crime that is to blame.

sometimes, people just can't tell good from bad because of where they come from... maybe their parents weren't around and they fell in with gangs, maybe they were abused or neglected as children, etc.

  4. ofcourse it is the rapist's fault....NEVER the victim..even if they were an easy target. the state can be at fault sometimes to, if they have trashy neighborhoods or crappy cops running around, that doesnt help.

  5. It's always the rapist ... it was his choice to ignore the rights of another person .

  6. The rapist is the victim, They raped in self-defence.

  7. The rapist

Everyone should be responsible for their own actions

  8. The person who carried it out. They shouldn't have, despite the circumstances that may have led them to it.

  9. The rapist is 150% responsible

Nobody in their right mind says:" Hi, how are you. I would like to be raped"

This year, my P.E class made my whole grade take a 2 hour course called Safe Teen, where you learn self defence. I think that schools should make everyone(but for sure girls) take a course that teaches self defence, so in case they're in that situation,  they'll know what to do.

  10. People who say it was the state's fault blame the state because it did not prevent the crime from occuring.  However, the state cannot be everywhere and, as we have shown time and again, we don't want them to be everywhere.

The state could also be blamed for not giving the perpetrator a better education.  To be honest, it really is a shame that we spend so much time on peripheral subjects such as algebra and obscure wars and not enough time on the basics such as having respect for women (and men).

In addition, you could also blame the state for not educating the victim more.  Most victims are not aware that most cases of rape are 'aquaintance rape' and that they are more likely to be raped by someone they know than by a stranger.

Some may argue that it is the victim's fault for dressing or acting a certain way.  However, the law states that any non-consentual s*x is illegal; if a couple has s*x 3 times and on the fourth time it was non-consentual then it was against the law.  In addition, it doesn't matter how far the couple has gone towards having s*x, if the victim says 'no' at any time, then the s*x in non-consentual.

And that's the way it should be.  The consequences of having s*x can be incredibly harsh from pregnancy to hepatitis and AIDS.  If s*x is not occuring between two consenting adults then it should not occur at all.

By definition, the fault for a crime lies in the person who carried it out.  We can say that the state is partially to blame, because it can always improve the way in which it socializes, educates and protects its citizens.  But if we blame the victim, even a little, we are heading down a slipperly slope towards removing guilt from a perpetrator who must be punished if our government is to "ensure domestic tranquility" as it promised in our Constitution.

The way things are right now, rape victims are subject to degrading evidence collecting, and when they appear at the trial they have to be cross-examined by lawyers who are paid to make the victims look like liars.  A lot of women refer to the trial as the 'second rape'.  Honestly, our system is broken enough as it is without putting more blame on the victims.

  11. In the old days, and in certain countries, they would say it was the victims (mainly women's) fault because of their appearance or behavior.

    hope this helps.

  13. G the perp of course,  in rape always the rapist fault, it is a way to control victim, in assault it is the person assaulting even if u egged them on.

  14. The person committing a rape is at fault. (at fault?)  the person committing a rape is a rapist. Doesnt matter what societal reasons to "excuse" the rape.. they stil violate someone against thier will.  Catholic priest and the alterboy..  the alterboy doesnt want to have an *** stretching.  Stupid ho that gets paid for s*x... doesnt want to be thrown into a ditch and not get paid. Always the rapist.

    edit

Possible you will bring up the statutory rape. but those boys and girls went into that willing.  They have only thier parents to blame for that.  Rape as far as statutory, is just misrepresentation and the persons that perpetuate it like woman s******g students have to live up to it. Men, Men can actually rape someone.  If a child says he, that guy is s******g me then off to jail he goes. My defintion of child is anyone under the age of 16.  This includes other 16 year olds.  I dont see anyone saying my son was raped by a 16 year old girl!

    edit

16 year old boys do rape girls.  they should get 30 years for that. when they get out at 46  they should be monitored harsh.

Guess this is a warning to 16 year old boys.... and priests :)

  15. the person who decided, planned, and plotted, to take power and control over another human being and force the victim into a humiliating, harmful, and horrific situation.

    That's why.
