I'm considering moving there so I need to talk to someone from there because I have many many questions.

I would move to Oahu because there are a lot more opportunities for jobs and housing.  Also more things to do.  I have to warn you that rent is expensive (probably similar to San Francisco).  The bus is a very convenient way to get around in Oahu.  As far as jobs, you can always find something in the hotel or restaurant industry.
