  1. Its  still raining and its also a long  way to Wiltshire, I think Ill stay in bed thanks.

  2. I accept the archaeological importance of Stonehenge but I find it a complete waste of time driving for hours to see a bunch of large rocks positioned in that manner.  I have been there, did not pay to go get closer but saw it from 100 metres away.    I really could not what the fuss is about.   The place is exposed, it is very cold in the winter and in the summer is quite windy.    I personally find it enough to view Stonehenge in a website.

  3. Oh great, spending the nght with a bunch of fiddle weilding hippies all arguing about uttely pointless c**p. Not for me thanks.

(sarted sounding a bit like here at the end..)lol

  4. I wish

I live in West Virginia in the US

  5. If I was a Druid I would

  6. not me been on the p**s and clearly not driving anywhere but would love to see mid summer night etc there, groovy.

actually sat on one of the stones as a kid with my big brother, in the late 70's  got pics and everything,

    but not allowed anymore

  7. I wish I could.  I'd also love to get inside Newgrange for the sunrise, that's supposed to be magical.

  8. Please don't... The stones are in poor enough condition, without a bunch of hooting hippies clambering all over them every year.

Find a nice, local stone circle - near me, I have Stanton Drew -  I can guarantee people (mainly druids) will turn up for the ritual. It's nicer, in a way.

  9. What a great idea.

Shame I've got too much alcohol on board to drive! :(

  10. Ill take a rain check , on that one , seen enough sunrises on way home from pub to do me a lifetime

  11. I'll make it but I'll use the astral-projection method taught to me many years ago by the late Father Pio of Brazil. It is an excellent way to travel, but you can't Carry any souvenirs back.

  12. Its p-ssing down with rain in Salisbury. Doubt if onyone will see the sun come up.
