Who's going to win the AL East?

Question

The Yankees are hot..except for tonight of course...the Red Sox are good, but their bullpen is suspect...and can the Rays stay on top, or will they start to falter...

as a Rays fan, i think the RSox have a good shot, i also think the Yankees have a good shot. The Rays have more games with only 1 day off for the stretch, this will wear down the rotation some. It won't kill the Rays, but it may have some issues.

I think the Rays will hold off because of the great home record, but the Yankees and the RSox will be within a game. The RSox will take the wild card

I think Boston will win, but Rays will win the Wildcard.

With the improvement of the Yankee pitching I can't see them not making the play-offs.  BoSox not looking too good right now and Rays are over rated, they will fall.  Close between Yanks and Sox.  Hope Sox pull it out and wild card goes to central div.

Bosox- Wild Card

Orioles- Inexperience but i say they take it

red sox, but every1 thinks blue jays are out of it, if the blue jays go on a small winning streak, they'll be right in the race, in the end, i think itll be a 4 team race(jays will be about 3-6 games out) and sox will win, rays win wild card

I think the Red Sox will ultimately win it with the Rays Yankees and Twins battling for the Wild Card (well the red sox rays and yankees battle it out but i say in a memorable race the Red Sox win the East and the Yankees win the Wild Card

The Red Sox have a more favorable schedule the rest of the year.  For example, the Yankees have six games with the angels in LA (or whatever those guys are calling home this week) and four in the Bronx while the Red Sox only have the four home games against them.  The red Sox also have a couple of games in hand which translates into two more off days.  The the season ends with the Yankees going to Boston for three.  It may come down to that.

i'm a yankee fan, but even though the yanks are hot i'm not picking against them just yet...i think in the long run, the red sox have the worst pitching staff among the three contenders at the top of that division and it will cost them big time...i'm taking the rays for now, but if the yankees continue to roll i might have to switch

It should be a dog fight to the end, but when in doubt go with the pitching and the Red Sox have it.

I think the Rays will wilt in the August heat.  It will come down to the Sox and Yanks.  I think the Sox have enough experience and a stronger starting rotation to keep them on top.

Yankees because yes we did loos tonight  to the Red Sox we took 2 of 3 v.s them in Fenway Park that's something Positive and the Yankees pitching has been superber besides Sidney Ponson they have done good

I think that the Rays will win the division by a game or two and the Yankees will win the wildcard. Yes, the BoSox will miss the playoffs, but not by much.

I agree with the man who said it will be a fight to the very end. The Red Sox should take it, and the Yankees will take the Wild Card. The Rays do not yet have enough experience to make it to the playoffs.
