  1. I think Kyle is a great driver (I will continue to say it) but I believe in "Big Mo" (momentum) and will go with Carl.

  2. Kyle Busch is knda "winny", isn't he? I dunno man! Anyone who can race a complete race and then get out of their car and do a backflip , must have a lot of stamina. I think it would be kind of cool (especially for the older fans) if Cousin Carl could keep Toyota from winning a championship. Carl seems to have a better style of driving execution than Kyle. Kyle is just "fast". Carl is more accurate. I think Carl is going to be the force to contend with.

  3. Jimmie Johnson will win it but if i had to pick Carl or Kyle, i would have to pick Carl. Personalities aside,I think Carl is the better driver.

  4. Yeah I think Edwards has a better chance. Not just because I'm a fan. I think Carl and Kyle are pretty evenly matched as drivers. But after Bristol,Busch is losing it. He's letting his temper get the better of him and I don't think he can keep winning if he doesn't calm down. His immaturity is showing.Just my $.02.

  5. I don't think either of them will win. I believe it will be Jimmie again this year. However, if I had to pick between those two, I'd give the advantage to Kyle.

I'd prefer Jeff Gordon to get it, but his crew isn't on it this year.

  6. Kyle Busch

  7. Neither.The 48 car. I wish it was the 17.

From those two you asked about I would say Kyle.

  8. Kyle Busch.

Why you cheerin for Carl? You realize Dale Jr won't be in contention?

By the way you spelled whiny wrong both times

  9. It is definitely a toss-up- or someone else could get hot (Jeff Burton). Cousin Carl isn't really used to the aggressive techniques of th 18, but I think he's a good student- re: Bristol. Kyle has to lose the attitude that he's the only one who can win the Cup. When you get too confident, and you're not used to your driving style being used against you, you need to get smart and humble fast.

Though my license plate reads "Edhead" at this point, I couldn't give it to anybody- sorry!

  10. I like Carl Edwards. He's got the 1 1/2 mile tracks figured out better than any other driver out there. He's pretty good at the restrictor plate races. He won Texas in the spring, he's won Atlanta before, finished 2nd last Oct there, & this spring literally "smoked" the field when he blew up leading (if you've got to blow an engine that's the way to do it). Homestead is a Roush Racing track (6 wins of 9 races).

I just like him, I like his style of racing at the up coming tracks. And many, many times this season he has been the ONLY car on the track who could drive pass Kyle Busch & pull away.

  11. Edwards. Kyle doesn't deserve to win.

  12. i would pull for Carl because i'm not a Kyle fan

  13. I'm going to give the edge to Carl, because he's on fire right now, and he's starting to get into Kyle's head.  However, the championship is by no means going to be just handed to Carl... expect a great battle!

  14. If you go by past race winners earlier this season then Kyle Busch probably is the best pick. However I think Hendrick has been sandbagging so watch out for any of their 3 drivers (not Mears) with Johnson being the sleeper. However I don't think Kyle is going to have the advantage they have had all year along. I believe Carl Edwards may step up and be the best pick. It's no surprise how much the "Cat in the Hat" dislikes Toyota so I think he will be 'h**l bent for leather' [so to speak].

One thing that may throw a twist in the whole picture is the incident between Carl and Kyle at Bristol. They may knock each other out of contention. If that's the case I hope that's where my driver comes in [Dale Jr.]. He's been "trying" to be consistent all year. I hope to see him keep that same attitude in the first few races in the chase. That could get him the advantage.

Below are the past results from previous races this year.

New Hampshire Motor Speedway .... Kurt Busch

Dover International Speedway ... Kyle Busch

    Kansas Speedway

    Talladega Superspeedway ... Kyle Busch

Lowe's Motor Speedway ... Kasey Kahne

    Martinsville Speedway ... Denny Hamlin

Atlanta Motor Speedway ... Kyle Busch

Texas Motor Speedway ... Carl Edwards

Phoenix International Raceway ... Jimmie Johnson

    Homestead-Miami Speedway

  15. Kyle Busch's winny ***.

i take it "winny" is an adjective describing someone who wins a lot, as in:

"he ends up in victory lane a lot, he's very winny."

i give him three stars (out of three) as well - "***"

    ;-)

  16. I think it's gonna be a great battle to watch and I will add that if those 2 take it out on each other like at Bristol than they may have a surprise in the end! It's hard for me to pick cause they are both hungry for it and have both been doing great so far this season so it's a toss up for me!

  17. I think it's going to be close....but if #18 stays as hot as his team has been....I think it's his year. Personally I'd rather see Carl win it...but again I think 18 will get it. Just an opinion as always.
