I'm very very happy for Ana and also was very touched by hearing Serbian anthem in the end (though normal cause I am Serbian as well and being so far from home, Ana made a really special moment for me). Anyway I think she did play well and deserved to win.

Im not. I wanted Safin to win she played awesome tennis throughout this tournament eliminating top players then you`ve got Ana had an easy run to the final just because her potential challengers were knocked out by flukes. All credit to her winning tho cant denie she played pretty good tennis. I cant wait till Sharapova restores her #1 ranking time wimby comes :) !

I'm happy for her, since this was her third final and she hadn't won a set in her previous two, but I wanted the other Serbian player Jankovic to be the one they lifted the flag for.  And I was kind of hoping Safina would have won the final, only because of how bravely she fought to make it there against match point down in both her 4th round and QF matches.  But Ana deserves it, she was the stronger player out there today.

I had to wipe away tears of joy. I just love her !!!!!! Her semi-final with Jankovic was incredible match. I think she got a big ole boost of confidence after that one. She is such a beautiful woman and an incredible tennis player. Her joy on the court just makes me smile. I don't see how anyone could hate on her.Ana straight up rocks in my book. !!!!

I am definitely happy that Ana won.  I've been a fan of her since the start and after getting to the finals of a few grand slams, I knew that today at the French Open, it was her time to win.
