Who's has the best 2nd half?

Ricky Nolasco, Francisco Liriano, or Randy Johnson?

Liriano.  This year will go just like every year for him.

I will pick Nolasco to have the better second half. Johnson,  as time goes by, durability becomes an ever-present issue with him. Can be stubborn when he doesn't have his best stuff, and therefore gets hit hard. Now Nolasco he has terrific command of his low-90's heat, plus he features a strong curveball and good change-up. Is very effective against right-handed hitters. Liriano's injuries have been a problem as he's risen up the ladder, and may curtail a potentially brilliant career. Also needs to improve his stamina. As of July 15, 2008 Nolasco is 10-4, Johnson 6-7, Liriano 0-3. Nolasco's ERA is 3.70, Johnson's ERA is 5.23, Liriano's ERA is 11.32. Nolasco has 88 Ks, Johnson has 95 Ks, and Liriano has 7Ks. I am picking Nolasco to have the better second half.

I think its really a coin toss. I'd LOVE for it to be Johnson, but, I'm not betting on it. Liriano would be a really nice surprise. Nolasco would also be a pleasant surprise. I think Johnson is a long shot because of his back.

liriano isnt even a gaurentee to pitch...

johnson is too old i dont trust his back...

nolasco is young but with a good amount of MLB experience. id take a shot on him.

Probably Liriano. He's bound to bounce back and start pitching.

Edit: Dan to the B has a point though, so I guess IF Liriano pitches, he might have the best 2nd half. But he's a risk. If you don't want to risk it, go for Nolasco.

Nolasco will be better, if liriano doesn't come back. the diamondbacks offense is terrible and randy johnson's ERA is high and will probably win 5 games or less the 2nd half.
