I was in an A.C.E. school in 9th grade. It was a joke. I learned absolutely nothing that year and when my dad's job was transferred the next year and we went back to a "normal" school, I was behind. I worked my butt off to catch up to where I needed to be (I didn't fail or anything, but I wasn't as challenged as the other kids). I struggled with math and science all the way through high school and college because of that school. Things other kids had known since 9th grade, I'd never even heard of.

And to boot, there were kids in my grade who were doing 2nd (second) grade math and English! How horrible is that! And the school gave them credit for it! What a joke...
