Who's looking foward to the Brownlow and the grand final?

I think these are the best two sporting events on the television. I like watching the Brownlow because i want to see how my team goes and who wins. The grand final is just awesome especially when there is a victorian team in there.

Also who do you think will win the brownlow and who do you think might supprise every one and poll quite well?

and yes, the grand final will be fantastic

but its boring

because geelong are streets ahead of everyone

i LOVE both events they're my fav's in AFL - the only bad thing is that they mean it's over for the year....:(

i love geelong and they're gonna win the GF this year....(i bet they'll beat the lions three back to back wins)

I desperatly want gary ablett to win the brownlow but he has missed four this year and harvey is doing pretty good so it'll be either one of them.....

I will watch the grand final for sure! but if it is vic team verse vic team i might get a bit bored (don't hold that against me, you would think the same about eagles v freo grand final) Really confused on who will get brownlow, too many good players from geelong.. although they have to share the points between themselves each game, some one will be the dark horse but don't know who just yet.

I actually like the prelims better than the grand final. It seems the best games are played in the prelims. As for the brownlow, i'll prob tune in right at the end.

I love this time of year, it's so exciting! On the other hand though, it means that it's nearly the end of footy season!

I think either Ablett, Bartel or Harvey will win the Brownlow, and I think Dane Swan should also poll well again this year.

i think that it will hopefully be a tight grand final but the brownlow will be a geelong player again harvey doesnt  deserve  to win after he faked that punch that he got from that melbourne player

Of course I am, I barrack for Geelong!  ;-)

I am in London for a few months and so won't get to see the Brownlow, although it would be great to see Little Gary win it for the Cats.  It will be hard for Geelong to win the Brownlow this year as they tend to share the play around a bit, but then Jimmy won it last year didn't he so we'll see.

I've been in and out of Australia all year so I can't comment on Brownlow outside Geelong as I've not really been paying too much attention to individual players.

As for the GF, I love watching it and of course I hope Geelong are both there and victorious.  But the previous games between Swans and Eagles were both awesome matches, as was the first Brisbane/Collingwood game where the margin was never beyond nine points the whole day.  Even the 1989 and 1992 GFs which Geelong played in and lost were also great games.  (Not so much 1994,95 when we got hammered.)

At the risk of sounding arrogant, (which I'm really not), I think Power played poorly last year.  It was great to see Geelong finally win the flag (I'm no where near old enough to remember 1963), but the GF should be the best game of the season and a showcase to the world of how great Aussie Rules really is.  Last year Geelong showed all the skills but Power didn't.

So yeah, bring on that "one day in September": let Geelong continue to play with their beautiful skill all day, and let Hawthorn (or Bulldogs or Swans) bring the game right up to them.

As a keen Geelong supporter, I can't wait until the grand final, touch wood that we make it, and watch them rise to the challenge.

Brownlow's are always exciting, Gary Jnr or Harvey will win it, not only for the tally of the votes but also the dresses that some of the stunning WAGS wear.

The only sad part about this time of year, like Loz Magpies Girl said, the 2008 season is coming to an end and I will have to watch endless summer days boring myself to death watching the cricket!

Jimmy Bartel and the Cats - sounds like a 60s rock band.

But the Brownlow has a habit of going to someone off the pace according to the columnists.

And Jimmy would have to be very careful where he puts his hands and feet in the next few weeks, people have been reported for very trivial things eg Scott Lucas a few weeks ago.

I hope the above do get up, because they are probably best and fairest, but I wouldn't put a week's wages on that quinella.

Couldn't give a stuff about either. Port are sh*t and i don't care about the brownlow. Choco's thrown away Ports season and is making us tank and then complains that we're tanking. WTF? The guys whacked.
