  1. I agree with you Donna Noble was the best companion i wish they could bring her back some how you know how they always say that something is impossible then they work their way around it like when Rose was supposed to be in a different dimension but she turned up any way. I'm waiting to see the re-runs of i think it was series 2 when all the statues start moving and people disappear this is the only one i've only see the once always looking for it on demand right i'm watching the first series which after watching david tennant for so long isn't really that great but yeah i can't wait till christmas to see what mayhem breaks out and how things end it will give me something ot look forward to

  2. It's like going through withdrawal, I swear!  I'm sure I'll be going a little less crazy once Dexter returns in September.  I do so miss my favorite serial killer.

But I really would love for Doctor Who to come back.  *stiff upper lip*  I can make it through 2009 with only 4 episodes.  I can.  I can.....

    *cries*

  3. Hiya Badwolf

I'm missing Doctor Who i cant wait until it comes back at Christmas. The Cybermen are my favourite monsters.

  4. I agree! Donna was a terrific companion! She is definitely going to be missed by a lot of people. I hope the Christmas special is good and I wish it was Christmas already!! I’ve been watching episodes from the classic series (with William Hartnell) since the latest series ended so I’m surviving. But I still can’t wait until Christmas!!

  5. I know, me too!  Donna was the BEST!!!  I'm so annoyed that she left but we all just have to breath deep and stay calm.

    *breaths deeply twice*

Donna was great and I'm also annoyed that Series Five won't be on until 2010!  I'm really disappointed, but I'm sure the specials will be really good and at least it isn't one whole year without Who (at all).

  6. No Doctor Who for months is such a depressing prospect! I LOVE it!

  7. Yes, I'm missing it. I've been finding it difficult to think of other things to do for the past few weeks since it finished. Don't really want to start watching the classic series from scratch again so soon, since I did that last year, and finished them all just before series 4 started.

I completely agree with you about Donna as well, but that's the nature of Doctor Who. Frequent changes in the main characters help to keep the stories fresh.

Very much looking forward to Christmas. I reckon it might just be the best Christmas episode yet.

  8. me ,i heard there are going to be cybermen in this christmas special i bet it will be great and hopefully worth the wait

  9. Christmas for you lucky people in the UK.  Well, and for those of us who find the episode online at one of the usual places before the copyright violation becomes obvious and it gets yanked.  But for most of us here in the US, the Christmas special is aired at the beginning of the next series, 3 or 4 months later.  Since this Christmas special doesn't have a new series coming behind it, we might be lucky enough to see the Christmas special sometime in January or February 2009.  And then again, we may not see it until you see the first bank holiday special - the powers that be may keep American viewers one show behind.

But yes, we're waiting anxiously on this side of the pond as well!

I agree with you about Donna.  She was terrific and I hated to see her go.  Russell left a couple of plot holes open that in my opinion could be used to bring Donna back, either for a special or maybe a regular season episode or two.  I'm not holding my breath expecting that he will bring her into a 2009 special or that Steven Moffatt will bring her back later; I'm just saying they left a door cracked open.  There's a whole universe out there for them to write about, after all, and I can't wait to see what they find when they let the writers go "out there."

  10. I totally agree with you - Donna was my favourite companion and her departure at the end of the series was heartbreaking! I am really missing Dr Who at the minute - I keep expecting it to be on still on Saturdays! At least its replayed on BBC Three for those who have Freeview!

Still can soooo not wait for the Christmas special! The Cybermen are back!!!

  11. I know how you feel - I've got withdrawal symptoms BAD!!! I was watching some of season 3 last night.  Donna was a brilliant companion, I really wish she had stayed with the Doctor, so sad :*(

Christmas Day seems like ages away...... :(

  12. saturday nights just don't seem the same without it

  13. Ohhh I love it! Donna was good but I think she would've got on my nerves for another series. I miss it, Saturdays are boring now :( x

  14. I'm going to miss it dearly! Christmas and then only another 3 next year!

    Guh!

I was really sad when he said that she would burn up if she remembered!

It just ruined the end altogether! But I'm sure there is something that can be done...

  15. I can't wait, I can't believe they are only doing 3 episodes next year not inc. Xmas and then none the year after! I just hope whenever it comes back again David Tennants still the doctor!

  16. Well, my hand is in the air!

I'm glad they are showing Series 1 again on TV. I haven't seen it in ages and despite being a huge David Tennant fan, seeing the series again is reminding me that Christopher Eccleston was in fact my first Doctor and I really did enjoy watching him as the Doctor.

Christmas looks to be promising, I hope it is better than 'The Voyage of the Damned' was.
